Kenneth – Roaming Muse Journeys

I live in Cumbria a county in England, United Kingdom. Where I am a self-taught artist with a lifelong passion for creating art. For many years, I balanced my artistic pursuits alongside a day job, but several years ago, I made the decision to concentrate on my painting full-time. Since then, I've spent my time into honing my skills and expanding my craft, with the encouragement of longtime friends—professional artists in Florence—and others who show such enthusiasm for my work.

Now, I'm excited to take the next step in my artistic journey.

I find inspiration in the world around me, whether it's a breathtaking view, a delicate flower, or the changing light on a cool autumn morning. Whether at home in the Lake District National Park or traveling further afield to Spain, Italy, or Florence, my sketchbook, paints, and camera are always with me. The beauty of a sunrise, a sweeping landscape, or the misty air on an autumn day all provide endless inspiration for my work.

This is how Roaming Muse Journeys was born—an ongoing adventure of creativity and exploration. One of the greatest joys I experience is sharing my art with others, whether through sketches made during my travels or plein-air paintings that capture a fleeting moment of the world around me. I cherish the conversations I have with fellow travellers and art lovers, exchanging stories and visions.
